This Week's Dimsum Platter

1. SE weekend has come and gone and Tope and I missed it again. Next time. When I'm a psychiatrist and he's an orthopedic surgeon... maybe. :) God is good. He will find a way to bring us back home.
2. Presented a report on Personality Disorders and felt like I fitted the DSM IV criteria for all of them. (yikes!)


3. Did my nails in glittery purple and knew for the umpteenth time that I will never pass as a Manikurista! (ay mali!, the politically correct term is: Cosmetics Manager specializing in Nail Care and Art! wahoo!)




4. It's scary that that sounded so much better than mere "doctor" :P



5. I think Santana is a beautiful name.

Not this Santana....This Santana....

Reminds me of nimble fingers, acoustic guitars, and reggae.

6. But I also like Takipsilim...

...Covenant, Nazareth and Promise.

7. I don't like Dzeidzic nor Deizel. People are not cars.

8. Ate a kilo of sweet, sweet Lanzones all by myself...




9. I look forward to BVR hour because when the Father of Philippine Psychiatry teaches, you feel like you're sitting on your grandfather's knees and listening to ages and ages of wisdom being passed down like a legacy...

10. Just learned that Sigmund Freud has never won a Nobel prize despite his fundamental contributions to the Field of Psychiatry. (this, according to Dr. Baltazar Reyes)



11. ... and can't help but wonder what kind of ego defense mechanisms he must have employed to deal with such frustrstions... ( i like this tickle-me-freud doll...)
12. ... and has Freud ever been through psychoanalysis himself?...(hmmm?)
13. Enough about Freud... Went to Tagaytay yesterday with Joe-joe, Atep, Flip and Tope... Oh wait, let me correct that statement in the words of my huwan-en-onli: "pumunta kaming Batangas para kumain ng Bulalo sa Tagaytay!"

14. Discovered that at twilight's time, People's Park in the Sky could actually be People's Park in the...erm... Rain.

15. I'm thinking I want dumplings and sushi for lunch...and maybe another batch of twister fries... the best twister fries in uhm...Retiro. :)
