Basket Case

Yesterday was Sunday and for the first time in a long time, Christopher and I are actually home together on a weekend. So needless to say we spent it spoiling our daughter who's secret weapon is her drool-drenched smile. She makes time stop for me. I just can't help it that despite everything in the past, her mere existence is enough reason for me to love him for whatever he is.

I'm grateful to him for giving her to me.

For being there for her.

This week, Nanay Ring bought her a bunch of playthings from Divisoria. That's the basket they came in. Needless to say, Promise spills all its contents onto the floor and plays with the basket.

She's adorable that way. And her father just couldn't seem to get enough of that baby lovin'.

they played...

And played...

And played some more...

Until she got knocked out. :)

He and I just watched her sleep after that. Both of us happy and content in the knowledge that when she wakes up, she'll be spilling all her toys onto the floor again so she could play with the basket they came in...

And that's still perfectly, perfectly alright. :)
